carlton talley - I grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina and was formally educated in school district seven. It was in the seventh grade at Cleveland Jr. High School that I got my first taste of photographing developing and printing black and white. It was love at first site and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I started my serious interest in photography in 1992 on vacation in the Bahamas. I was on a cruise with my family with my first SLR camera. I took a lot of photos, (maybe 50 rolls), of my family and friends as well as the scenery. This was only the beginning. I have such a passion for this craft that sometimes, with the right subject; a photo shoot can last for hours.

I started photographing weddings in the upstate of South Carolina since 1993. Since then I have shot weddings as far north as New York and as far south as Tampa, Fl. My style for weddings could be considered photojournalistic. I like to capture every moment of a wedding, no matter how subtle.

In 1994 I started photographing beauty and bikini contest. One of my major clients was Hooters. I photographed their contests, filmed an advertising spot for one of the stores in North Carolina and South Carolina, and did test shoots for the girls that wanted to audition for the Hooters calendar.

Besides shooting freelance for models that needed photos for their portfolios, I started shooting fashion photography in 1996. I shoot portfolio work for aspiring models, headshots for aspiring actors, and promotional packages for artist.

Started shooting advertising in 1996 for the Clipper Magazine. A majority of this magazine’s clientele consists of restaurants. Hence I became very experienced in food, and other commercial photography. I have photographed ads for many of the major restaurants in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville.

In the months of February and March 2005 I reacquainted myself with and became fluent in Spanish. Doing this helped me tremendously with my Hispanic clients as well as broadened my customer base in the Hispanic community.

brad forth - Photographer Brad Forth holds a Bachelor of Arts in photography and graphic design from the University of South Carolina, however his love for photography grew taking courses at Greenville Techincal College's, Visual Arts Department. With his passion for people and events Brad decided to work with the Metrobeat, an Upstate South Carolina culture and arts publication and the Spartanburg Herald Journal in order to perfect his photo journalism skills. He then traveled to New York to work with Fairchild Publications, a subsidiary of Conde Nast and producer of Women's Wear Daily, W and Details magazine. Here he got the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the top fashion photographers and models in the industry enhancing his skills as a fashion photographer. After spending some time in Europe, he decided to team up with Carlton Talley at Talley Foto Studio. Brad is known for his passion and expertise in detailed lighting as well as his ability to work with people, making them feel at ease bringing out the best image possible. Always well dressed, he is a joy to work with for any project. In addition, Brad enjoys kayaking!
